This is a 3-week course located on our organic farm in Nicaragua. Our property is a beautiful,peaceful place and is only a short walk to the beach!

What sets us apart from other certification programs? The aquaponics and black soldier fly introducation! But we think the most important element of the certification course is the relationship you will build with our community. A percentage of the school costs will support a local project that you will initiate and implement as a final project. Each class will be limited to 12 participants

Cost: $1,750.00 Includes: class, book, lodging and 3 meals a day.

We love hosting kids from the local schools on our campus. The enthusiasm of the children is contagious. The field-trips are 3-hours long. The topic is "Everything eats something." During this lesson the children learn the different cycles of life within their environment and the importance of protecting these cycles.

Internships

We offer 6 slots to interns for a month-long stay. Live in community with our family. Internships offer a more relaxed opportunity to learn permaculture principles by working on the farm and in the community with us. You will not receive a certification but you will take away knowledge and memories to last a lifetime. If you would like to take the permaculture certification class at a later date you will receive a $750.00 discount towards the program.
